Moving together creates a different kind of experience
Group work has been an important part of my practice for more than three decades - through Dance, movement, Yoga, Qigong, workshops and teaching.
There is something particular that happens when people move together. A group creates energy, curiosity, and connection, while each person can remain attentive to their own body and experience.
The aim is not reproduce the same movement in the same way.
The invitation is to participate - not to perform
There is no required age, body type or level of experience. The practice adapt to the people in the room.
Ways we can move together
Group Sessions can take many forms.
Some groups come together through a shared professional practice, others through age or physical capacity, and other simply through the wish to move, breathe, explore and enjoy being in a body together.
Sessions can be offered as regular classes, workshops, retreats or specially designed programs, in person or online.
Yoga for dancers & Movers
My Yoga teaching is deeply informed by my background in professional Dance, functional movement and bodywork.
Sessions can support mobility, stability, coordination, recovery and body awareness while exploring how breath, alignment and effort influence the way we move.
Ferre professional DANCERS!, movers and people with an established physical practice, Yoga becomes less about achieving forms and more about supporting a body that needs to keep moving.
Dance for professionals & Movers
Dancing movement Sessions draw from my background and contemporary Dance, improvisation, functional anatomy and somatic exploration.
They work in range From technically focus professional practice to exploratory workshops where movement, awareness and creativity meet.
Dance 45+. The changing Moving Body
Our bodies change. Our movement does not have to disappear with them.
For experience Dancer and mover 45+, in particularly interested in exploring how a changing body can continue to move with freedom, expression, adaptability and pleasure, without constantly measuring itself against an earlier version of itself.
Children, children's dances & Creative Movement
For many years, teaching children has an important part of my work within the Dance education program of Sasha waltz & guests.
Classes invite children to discover movement through, imagination, play, rhythm, music, improvisation and creative exploration.
Rather than focusing only on learning steps, children are encouraged to discover their own movement ideas, develop coordination and body awareness, and experience the pleasure of creating together.
There is no single right way to dance.
Movement for older adults
Movement remain remains meaningful at every stage of life.
Sessions for older adults or people with limited mobility can draw from Qigong, adopted Yoga, gentle movement, dance, breath and body- awareness practices, including sitting possibilities when appropriate.
The emphasis can shift towards mobility, balance, coordination, stability, confidence in the simple pleasure of continuing to move.
Qigong
Qigong can be offered as a practice in its own right or integrated into other group formats.
Through simple movement, breath, attention and repetition, we explore coordination, grounding, mobility and body awareness.
It can be adapted to very different physical capacity, making it particularly valuable from mixed groups and older adult adults.
Laughter Yoga - Joy as practice
Not every practice of awareness needs to be serious.
Laughter Yoga uses breath, movement, play an intentional laughter to create connection and change the atmosphere of a group.
I approach it not only as an exercising laughter but as an exploration of joy, playfulness, connection and spirituality - a reminder that lightness can also be a meaningful practice.
Yoga Retreats & Immersive Experiences
Sometimes having more time together allows the practice to go deeper.
I've organised and taught retreat experiences abroad, including a yoga retreat in the Siwa desert in Egypt, bringing together daily yoga practice, yin yoga, Qigong, breath, meditation, relaxation, time to immerse in the desert and time for rest.
Retreat can be created around different themes and for different groups - from restorative and well-being retreats to movement - based programs and deeper exploration of body awareness.
Retreat is not about filling the day with practice. It is also about creating enough space for experience, rest and integration.
Yoga and movement in the workplace
Yoga, Qigong, mobility, movement and relaxation can also be brought directly into the working environment.
Format Can range from short movement breaks to regular classes and workshops and are adopted to the people, space and rhythm of the workplace.

Movement at every age
Movement has no age limit.
I believe movement practices so that adapt to people - not require people to adapt to the practice.
As the body changes, the practice can change with it. The emphasis may shift towards mobility, balance, coordination, stability, breath, and confidence - without losing curiosity, creativity all the pleasure of moving.
From a child discovering movement for the first time to an experience, Dancer adapting to a changing body, movement can continue to offer possibilities throughout life.
There is always a way to move. The question is finding the movement that belongs to the body we have today.
Workshops & Special Formats
Workshops can bring together movement, body awareness, functional Lana, partner work, touch, breath and somatic exploration.
They can be developed for DANCERS! and movers, Yoga practitioners, therapists, children, older adults, professional teams or mixed groups.
Rather than applying the same format everywhere, the content can be developed around the interests and needs of each particular group.
In person & Online
Group sessions can be offered on site or online, as regular classes, workshops, retreats or specially developed programs.
